- I'd like to ask you again to list your Poland-related contribs at our new article's page. Among other things we can help to polish (pun intended) them up to DYK level :) -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 20:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Street names in Warsaw
[edit]Hi there - and thanks for your hard work. Just out of curiosity, you don't seem to live in Warsaw, do you? Mind if I asked what made you write such an article? Cheers. //Halibutt 22:19, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Hoteldecambaceres.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hoteldecambaceres.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:06, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
If there is an article about Hagia Sophia (Thessaloniki) in the Greek Wikipedia or another foreign-language Wikipedia, would you please add a link to it from the article in the English Wikipedia which you just created? Also, could you please add references to the article? --Eastmain 00:16, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Adderbak! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 199 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Vladimir Makanin - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:Cambaceres.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
