Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Adavila42, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi. I wanted to let you know that I undid your contribution to The Village (2004 film) because it incorporated material from, and used as a source, the Internet Move Database. Unfortunately, IMDB is considered an unreliable source on Wikipedia because its content is user-generated and does not have any sort of editorial oversight. I see you're a student--good luck, and don't be discouraged, because Wikipedia can take a while to get the hang of! Grandpallama (talk) 14:45, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
