Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:06, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked 3 days for continued personal attacks and harassment. (blocked by MuZemike 01:27, 5 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]
You may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but please read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Brian Wynter. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:40, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Stanley Louis McLelland, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Eeekster (talk) 03:03, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Minister of Finance and Planning has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is factually incorrect. See Cabinet of Jamaica and here. The correct title is Minister of Finance and the Public Service. No need for an article about this ministry without expanding Cabinet of Jamaica first then spinning off individual ministries.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

If you are familiar with the various ministries in Jamaica, please consider improving Cabinet of Jamaica rather than creating articles about each ministry. Thanks. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 00:39, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor removed the PROD and moved the article to Minister of Finance and the Public Service. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 05:10, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Adamguru! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 5 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Stanley Louis McLelland - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Brian Wynter - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
