Directions of 7 service
Hi, you recently changed the infobox for 7 (New York City Subway service) from East/West Terminals to North/South. The 7 line runs from Eastern New York (Flushing, Queens) to Western NYC (Times Sq, Manhattan). Could you explain further on why you made this change? -Herenthere 02:54, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Each line in the system runs north/south via railroad directions. Flushing is the north end, and Times Square is the south end. Lines from the Bronx and Queens travel south into Manhattan.
Lines from Brooklyn travel north into Manhattan. The only service this will cause problems with is the new M service (combined with the V) that will reverse railroad direction in the Chrystie Street Connection. Acps110 (talk • contribs) 04:01, 12 April 2010 (UTC)- Okay, makes sense. -Herenthere 22:41, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Fixing stricken sentence from above. Lines from Brooklyn travel north into Manhattan, except those from the Williamsburg Bridge. (That line travels north into Manhattan, but the services travel south into Manhattan. See New York City Subway nomenclature.) Acps110 (talk • contribs) 01:57, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

This is a particularly clueless warning. This edit suggests Giano has no interest in edit warring, and describing a couple of reverts as an edit war is excessive in any case. Moreover, the issue was being discussed on the talk page and the "edit war" is stale. This does nothing constructive and needlessly resurrects the issue. Acps, please think before you start dishing out warning templates; you should have been able to see that it would be antagonistic. Nev1 (talk) 17:06, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

I believe you were bullied/abused by Giano II ([1], [2]). You should open this up on WP:ANI. Dont let anything people say scare or intimidate you. There are abusive people over here and they're being allowed to over run the place. Even if a non-new (I dont like to call him 'established') editor person has been templated, they should not be allowed to get that rude as he was with you. There's no justification for that. If you need help let me know (to those who are watching me: yes I know this will now be given as a diff but nothing I have said here is incorrect or "reportable" so go ahead, do it). --Matt57 (talk•contribs) 21:46, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Nev1, this is a long standing problem of abusive editors. I'm talking to this about Jimbo. --Matt57 (talk•contribs) 21:59, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Arbitrary section break
Hold on!!!!!!
After GiacomoReturned responded to my templated message to cool down; I also received the above comment from Nev1 that I had acted improperly by placing that message in the first place. That made me step back from intervening further, because I don't have a stake in the edit war that was going on. My talk page is NOT a forum for a whole bunch of people to debate whether or not GiacomoReturned was bullying me.
Thanks for your concern, Matt57; if they want to continue to work on each other, let 'em. I'm not an admin, so I can't block anybody for edit warring.
To GiacomoReturned – As I said before, I hope your day gets better. Acps110 (talk • contribs) 23:04, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
That pesky rollback button
Thanks very much - I'll give it a try. I see that monobook is now obsolete. ScottyBerg (talk) 17:29, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Archiving at Possibly unfree files
Hello. I just wanted to ley you lknowe that there is no need to archive discussions at Possibly unfree files which result in deletion, such as you did here. There is actually a bot which will come along and take care of this for us, but it will not if the page is broken. If you do feel a need to archive any manually, please do so with the corrected formatting as I have shown here, so that the bot can continue to perform its tasks. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this. --After Midnight 0001 15:33, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. Sorry for breaking the page! Acps110 (talk • contribs) 16:52, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. It was easy enough to fix and nobody can be expected to know the convention of all the pages. --After Midnight 0001 03:00, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
