Burkina Faso
HI there. I noticed you created the articles on the Burkinabe province such as Bam (province). Well I am looking to create the subdivisions of these and have already created Bourzanga but I would like to know why the departments have been renamed as communes on these articles. According to french wikipedia they are departements and various sources show the Burkinabe government uses e.g Bourzanga Department rather than commune. Now I have done some work on French communes which are a subdivision of actual departments. Could you help clear up what the naming convention is, as I will be looking to create some templates and start these articles in the coming weeks. Personally I would rather name them departments as some of them cover quite large areas .Thanks ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 17:31, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
This was lifted from the french wiki.
I'll also be looking to make provincial templates which include the communes and all the villages within them ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 17:43, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry if you got the wrong impression of me. I;ve had a particularly bad day on here -I didn't mean to appear to be rude. Thnkgs can get pretty tight at times on here. I had just hoped you would have known more about it seems as you did a cool job setting up the provinces. As you didn't respond I just assumed you didn't acknowledge my efforts to continue where you left off. Best regards ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 22:06, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
I feel really bad about it too I gave you the totally wrong impression of me. I had just had to spent hours trying to stop something I had worked on going down the afd which was sort of disrupting and I was feeling pretty bad. Sometimes you can slip in something you wouldn't normally intend to and I shouldn't have said that you weren't concerend with it as I know you also do a lot of great work.
Anyway that national tmeplate is good, but I was thinking about also drawing up some Burkinabe provincial template sin which we could covers the departments/communes and also perhaps some of the towns and villages. I also am rather busy at present but I'll see about developing this in the coming weeks -its pretty daunting as there are 45 provinces!!. I think if it is OK I'll name them as departments -as this is the usage on the french wiki of which burkina is french speaking I believe.
Now cheer up too buddy! All the best from the Bald One ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 12:40, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Thats what I thought, I think I may get rid of the above national template once they are started as they will be in an A-Z in the category. The provincial templates will be for more useful but will take some effort to create. Usually for African countries (e.g Republic of the Congo, Eritrea) I would create a single template with them all but due to the huge number of them for Burkina splitting is best I think. Best regards ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 13:15, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Its quite scary how much is missing but I was thinking along the lines of provincial templates like Template:Balé. What do you think? ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 14:25, 9 April 2008 (UTC) I'll create them like Bagassi Department I think. I'm not sure its 2006 census though ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 16:00, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. Wow thats sounds like severe weather -its funny that another American user was telling me what a beautiful day it was where he is!! Its pretty murky here too but nothing as electric as where you are!!! Yes I wasn't too certain about the map, after all the maps are there on the department pages but I'll see how it develops. I;ll try to get them all started in newxt week or two, today I;ve been busy with Slovene composers Lucijan Marija Škerjanc , spanish ceramics companies Porcelanosa and Ecuador telcommunications companies Etapatelecom. Pretty diverse huh? I think the best thing we can do for African geography is lay out the smaller areas of countries in templates -this gives us a structure to begin building content on -as it is African geography and topics are very poorly developed because of obvious reasons. Hopefully this will change over time, but it is likely to remain very uneven well for our life times anyway.
Take care in that storm, and don't forget to cling onto the clock for dear life like The Doc ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 16:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Maine stats
I'd recommend leaving Maine out of the sentences you're adding. The articles have already established the town or city's state in the lead, and it looks a tad untidy to have the designation broken by the comma. - Dudesleeper / Talk 12:02, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Image source problem with Image:MZ-Marracuene.png
Thanks for uploading Image:MZ-Marracuene.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:32, 10 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 14:32, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Berlin, New Hampshire micropolitan area
Several places in the total boonies in Vermont have been placed into the "Berlin micropolitan area." However, this chart does not show any connection to Vermont from Berlin which I would expect since cross-state roads are terrible in Vermont and New Hampshire (mountains). Also crosses the Connecticut River. The only slight connection that Vermont might have with New Hampshire could be in the Littleton area, though that is really too far away. Also Hanover-Lebanon and White River Junction. Those are at least close enough to help each other out. But Island Pond and Essex county are moose country! Two lane roads, lucky if they are paved! :) Student7 (talk) 14:19, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:F bozize.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:F bozize.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 12:40, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Butler Elementary School (Arlington, Texas)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Butler Elementary School (Arlington, Texas), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. New Project
Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 02:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Ansumane Mane.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Ansumane Mane.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Fair use rationale for Image:Moussa_Traore.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Moussa_Traore.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Adamu Muazu.png}
Thank you for uploading Image:Adamu Muazu.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Springfield metro area
...does NOT go anywhere near Northfield. I'd say it pretty much cuts off at South Hadley at most, and would be more inclined to say Holyoke. Northfield, Montegue (Turners Falls), Northampton, and Hadley are definitely outside of that zone. They're physically and mentally away from Springfield. - Denimadept (talk) 13:59, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Aberdeen micropolitan area sources
Hi. Could you point me to where you found the demographic information for Aberdeen micropolitan area? I see the population comes from the CSV file in the references, and you cite http://factfinder.census.gov for the race, house?hold, and other information in the Aberdeen micropolitan area#Demographics section. However, where specifically on FactFinder did you find it? I'm working on a standard citation template for articles that will point directly to the Factfinder tables with the data, rather than merely provide a generic link to the main site. I can't find any micropolitan data for the 2000 census, let alone any detailed information regarding the Aberdeen micropolitan area. Any help you could provide is appreciated.Dcmacnut (talk) 04:26, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. That's how I figured you did it, since there is no "official" demographic data other than gross population for this particular area for the 2000 Census. I was hoping there was a simple, easy table to access on factfinder, since not all micropolitan areas fall so neatly within county boundaries. Check out my template American Factfinder, which generates URLs like this: Chicago, Illinois.Dcmacnut (talk) 13:28, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

When you get a chance, would you be willing to add the ‡ to New England templates? - I've also prepared maps for several other μSAs that are redirects to the articles about their principle cities. I'm going to upload them and put them on their principle city articles. I've one problem, though, on which I'd appreciate your advice: on these maps, I link to the μSA article in the image description. Should I link to the basic title (for example, Safford, AZ μSA) in the descriptions for the maps of areas without separate articles? Nyttend (talk) 12:50, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your advice; I've uploaded all the μSA (or µSA, see here!) maps, except for Clarksburg WV, which has a related CSA, and placed them on their municipality articles. I've created maps for MSAs and CSAs, which I hope soon to post. Nyttend (talk) 16:27, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use Image:Mahamane_Ousmane.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Mahamane_Ousmane.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Calliopejen1 (talk) 22:11, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

My point in adding the maps and sections to the city articles isn't so much to have that information on the city's page as much as it is to make it easily available for micropolitan area articles when they're created. I plan to add such maps to cities that are the centers of MSAs and CSAs that don't have their own statistical area articles yet, such as the Beckley-Oak Hill, WV CSA. Nyttend (talk) 23:46, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- I've added a bunch more metropolitan area maps to the cities to which their titles redirect: for example, Bloomington, IN MSA. Nyttend (talk) 20:03, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Mutharika.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Mutharika.jpg.
Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:05, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Map request
Sorry for causing a problem, but I just now uploaded Image:Salisbury-Ocean Pines CSA.png to Commons and added it to Salisbury, Maryland, only to find that you already had an image of this name on Wikipedia. Would you be willing to tag it for user-request deletion, since the Commons image shows identical data? Nyttend (talk) 12:58, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I need to be more careful... Nyttend (talk) 15:06, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- I've completed adding maps of all single-state statistical areas that didn't already have them; yesterday and today I've added a couple dozen CSA maps to the articles on their largest cities. Hope these are useful. Nyttend (talk) 19:25, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- On the Maryland note: I've noticed that you've uploaded a lot of MSA and µSA maps to Wikipedia. Would you be willing to help transfer these to Commons? I myself would find it easier to create slightly different new maps and upload them under the same names on Commons as your currently existing maps, but only if you were okay with it. Nyttend (talk) 14:47, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Would you also be okay with tagging your images for author-request speedy deletion once I had similar images up? Since my images will be somewhat different, they won't be speedy-able as bit-by-bit copies of Commons images. This is the big reason I'm asking, since it will mean a bit of work for you. If you'd be willing to tag them like this, I'd be willing to find and list for you the images that I'd be planning to replace, so you could tag them without searching. I don't have a ton of time for maps right now, so these will likely be the last for a little while. Nyttend (talk) 14:05, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

On {{Blount County, Alabama}}, you marked Cleveland as being in another county, which it doesn't seem to be from the map. Did you mean to mark another community instead? And thanks for tagging those four MSA maps, by the way. Nyttend (talk) 12:52, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Image:Peoria MSA.svg
A tag has been placed on Image:Peoria MSA.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Peoria MSA.svg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Replaceable fair use Image:KumbaIala.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:KumbaIala.jpg.
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
Calliopejen1 (talk) 19:28, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:H-GAC logo.png
Thanks for uploading Image:H-GAC logo.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Edit summaries
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.

Overcategorization
I see you have decided to place every city in each county of the Portland metro area in the metro area category you created. Please see WP:CAT and Wikipedia:Categorization and subcategories, and notice that usually we do not place items in both the parent cat and all the sub categories. In this instance each of these cities/communities is already in their respective county(ies) category which is a sub category of the metro cat, thus there is no need to add the individual cities. Otherwise, why stop at the cities, all the things in those cities are also in the metro area, thus the reason for not going further than the county level. The same would apply for the other metro/micro areas. Aboutmovies (talk) 06:14, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Image without license
Unspecified source/license for Image:LouisianaMetro.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:LouisianaMetro.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Yet another request...
I seem to remember that you know where to find Census Bureau population estimates newer than the 2000-2006 ones you used for Nebraska townships (Clark Township, Dixon County, Nebraska, for a random example). Could you show me where to find these, or please tell me that I'm incorrect? Nyttend (talk) 12:16, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Do you know if the Censsu Bureau has issued subcounty population estimates for 2007; and if so, where they can be found? All I've been able to find are pages like the Nebraska one that you gave me (thanks!), which aren't subcounty. Nyttend (talk) 14:54, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Lone Oak Independent School District
Proposed deletion of Lone Oak Independent School District
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lone Oak Independent School District, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Flagler Beach
I noticed you changed the "template" for Volusia County, Florida to include the City of Flagler Beach, with a notation: a very small portion of Flagler Beach extends into the county. Can you please tell me or show where this extension is documented? I live in Volusia County, and this is first time I heard of this. As far as I know, Flagler Beach is entirely located within Flagler County. Gamweb (talk) 19:12, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the Census Bureau data, but I believe that data goes beyond "City Limits" as there is plenty of unincorporated territory in this area of Florida. Someone could have a "Flagler Beach" mailing address and not actually be located within Flagler Beach city limits. The "City of Flagler Beach" is still located entirely within Flagler County, not Volusia County. I believe the old version of the template was used the way Wikipedia intended. Little community advice
I saw an IP modify {{Dane County, Wisconsin}} to change "Ashton Corners" to "Ashton". Looking at the GNIS, I found a really confusing situation: BOTH have entries! Look at Ashton and Ashton Corners. Looking at Google Maps, it seems that they're about a mile away from each other, along the same road. Are they really big enough to warrant separate articles, or should they be merged; and if they're merged, under which title do you think we should list the combined communities' article? Because the article is now entitled AC, I'm putting the notes back to AC for the moment, but we really need to get this decided at some point :-) Nyttend (talk) 21:32, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice. As far as Lovejoy: I don't think we need protection at the moment, as there's been no problem for two days; but I see your point, so if there's any more problem of this sort in the next few days, tell me and I'll semiprotect it for a week or two. Nyttend (talk) 18:51, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, I'm going to be gone for most of next week and perhaps into Christmas week too. Nyttend (talk) 18:54, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Looking at Lovejoy ISD, I noticed that there had been a bit more EL modification, including this change that really switched around a lot of links in a manner that looked to me as rather problematic. I put the links back to what looks best (please check it!) and put it on semiprotection for a week. If the problems continue when it expires, check at the page protection requests. Nyttend (talk) 16:34, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've gotten virtually the same messages from both IPs. In case you've not had the chance or felt like taking the time, I've checked the WHOIS and similar things for the IPs; aside from seeing that they're AT&T IPs (I'd guess that only individuals would have such, so they're not doing it at school), the only thing that I found is that 68., the anti-unofficial website IP, uses DSL. Noting the problems on the high school page, I've modified that a little, and I'm prepared to put that on semiprotect too if warring continues — remember, if you find warring and I've not done anything, leave me a note. I have been correcting the links and using the correct isd links for months. The same IP's that are changing the ISD page are doing the same thing on the High School stub. Is there any way to stop this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.94.203.142 (talk) 17:42, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
I am a parent and taxpayer in Lovejoy ISD as well. I believe in holding public school officials accountable for their spending and actions. The lovejoyschools.com web site provides public documents that the district officials are desparately trying to keep out of the public eye. The school has attempted to censor lovejoyschools.com and continues to remove the link from this wikipedia page. From this wikipedia page's inception the link to www.lovejoyschools.com was there and co-existed with official district links, until this year. Someone, maybe "Lovejoy Parent", started to remove the link on a daily basis. There is a link to another "unofficial" site which is censored by the school district. "Lovejoy Parent" does not remove that link.
Lovejoy ISD is in Collin County, and before the mortgage meltdown, was one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S. Developers and those with real estate interests have vested interest in representing a school district in it's best light in order to get top dollar for real estate interests and homes in the district. Real estate interests are not interested in protecting children, only selling homes. The picture they paint of the local school is not a complete and accurate one. Parents moving in the district need to know everything about the district before investing.
School officials have been given the opportunity to correct any information they deem incorrect on the lovejoy schools.com website and have never done so in the past six years. While the information, may not be flattering it is accurate, documented, relevant and important to parents who want to know everything that is going on in this district, rather than just what the district wants them to know. I have no issue with the link to official and the OTHER "unofficial" site remaining, so long as the link to www.lovejoyschools.com stays as well. I would prefer the page stay protected so Lovejoy ISD will stop deleting the link to www.lovejoyschools.com
Thank you, Freedom of Speech

I was surprised to see the Lovejoy District page still locked with the link to the unofficial page removed.
The unofficial site tracks administrative activities and official documents that Lovejoy ISD would prefer the public not see.
If only "official" sites on a subject are allowed on Wikipedia, how does Wikipedia policy differ from the policies of the Chinese goverment? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.188.16.243 (talk) 12:23, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- With all this going on: if there's anything that needs to be done, would you please ask Royalbroil (also an admin) for help? Royalbroil has been able and willing to help as I've been healing up, and (unlike me) is not recovering from surgery :-) I've been doing a good number of edits today, but all small, and no admin actions; I'm loth to do any admin actions until I feel better, since any mistakes would have wider effects and be harder to fix. I expect that I'll be ready to go in a few days, but for now I'd rather not run the risk of causing problems. I know that the Lovejoy thing needs to get settled, but I'm wary to engage in disputes (even calmly and carefully) over the next few days. Nyttend (talk) 01:25, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
