Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.Sincerely, User:Crtew (talk) 16:02, 30 August 2012 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
Welcome to Wikipedia
[edit]Acclark12, Congrats on starting your page and leaving me a message. One element of Wikipedia that you might want to explore a bit more is the Wikilink. By placing double brackets around article names, you can create an internal link to Wikipedia. The wikilinks makes Wikipedia as a whole more useful to readers. You probably use them all the time too! I made one for USI on your user page so that you can see how it is done. Another feature of editing that you might want to try out is making a list. Some people simple type an asterick and the list time to create an unordered list. If you click on advanced in the editor, you can create list items visually like you would in a word processor. Have fun with Wikipedia! Crtew (talk) 16:00, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia Education Program: student survey!
[edit]Hi! I work with the Wikipedia Education Program, and I'm hoping to get your feedback about your experience this semester! In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it would be very helpful to hear from real program students about their experience, so we know what to change. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes, and I'd really appreciate your response!
Thanks so much! JMathewson (WMF) (talk) 01:58, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
