A tag has been placed on Equal Justice Works, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Equal Justice Works and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ukexpat (talk) 18:14, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message on my talk page. Yes, an admin will review the article and decide if it still meets the criteria for speedy deletion. If their decision is that that article does not quality for speedy the tags will be removed. However, it is still possible that the article could be nominated for deletion under the WP:AfD process, so the more you can do to expand it, provide more reference etc the better. Thanks. – ukexpat (talk) 19:30, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Equal Justice Works. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 18:14, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Equal Justice Works

[edit]

An editor has nominated Equal Justice Works, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Equal Justice Works and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 01:59, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

David Stern (philanthropist/activist)

[edit]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article David Stern (philanthropist/activist), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
