Richie Rich Netflix
[edit]Hey. So I saw you changed Richie Rich back from Ended to Pending so I just wanted to explain why it had been listed as Ended. The source provided (which was an announcement of it being picked up by Netflix) stated it was a '21-episode series" and discusses making specifically 21 episodes available to stream. As of 18 months ago all 21 episodes have been released. -AnonWikiEditor (talk) 00:36, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
- I guess I get your point. I took that to mean that as of now it is a 21-episode series. Imo as long as Netflix hasn't stated that X has ended it is pending, but I agree that this is a fringe case, it has been a long time since season 2 aired. I would say leave it on "Pending" anyway. Netflix logo
[edit]Hi there! I see on the list of Netflix Originals, films are being added that apart of the SVOD-deals, not being produced by Netflix, should it be stated on the opening of the article that all films listed bare the Netflix logo on marketing materials, and the beginning of the film? Vmars22 (talk) 19:26, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
- Could be a good Idea. Problem with that is, sometimes the Netflix logo is present on some material but not in others ('Divines' has that problem for example). - The beginnig of the film is another thing, that could be a solution... Bottom line is that the branding and markting of Netflix seems inconsistent. Either we have to find a clear statement from Netflix or we have to make a final decision how to handle it. I would say start a topic on the talk page about it and ask the whole lot. :) Abyss Taucher (talk) 19:42, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi there! I left a message on the Netflix programs talk page! Would you mind checking it out? :) Vmars22 (talk) 15:57, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

bolding
[edit]Just to clarify, "Spark" isn't the localized name of Hibana. The name of the show is actually "Hibana (Spark)"--occono (talk) 18:44, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- I see. We should probably change it to only 'Call Me Francis' then, like I did yesterday, but I'm also okey with leaving it the way you changed it for now. It will most likely be called 'Call Me Francis' on the service (which should be the reference), but outside sources have been wrong about titles before, especially foreign ones ('7 años' was such a case). Let's just leave both up for now and we change it when it actually shows the official title on Netflix. Abyss Taucher (talk) 20:10, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Though now that I think of it Hibana Spark must be a localisation. The Japanese name must be in Katakana.--occono (talk) 23:48, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm sure it's a localisation, but you're correct in that Netflix shows both titles (technical as 'Hibana -Spark-', but that's just a strange way to write it, putting it in parentheses makes way more sense), hence it's a actual part of it, not just a translation. Two Lovers and A Bear
[edit]I think Two Lovers and A Bear should be removed from the "international distribution" section, since Fox is releasing the film theatrically starting tomorrow.[1] The MPAA website is listing "20th Century Fox Home Entertainment"[2] as it's distributor meaning it's going to end up like Blue Jay, available on iTunes, GooglePlay, DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. Do you agree it should be removed? :) Vmars22 (talk) 18:33, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
- I see it's already done. - I responded under 'Netflix Presents vs. Netflix Original' on the talk page that movies where netflix isn't the distributior in streaming and public theatrical release shouldn't be seen by us as Netflix Orginals imo. Since you provided a source that proves that that is the case here, I agree to take it off. :) Abyss Taucher (talk) 18:55, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
List of original programs distributed by Netflix
[edit]Don't know if you've seen it yet, but your input is requested here in a vote about whether to completely eliminate all categories on the List of original programs distributed by Netflix article and making it one giant list instead: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:List_of_original_programs_distributed_by_Netflix#RfC_on_section_breaks_for_this_article -AnonWikiEditor (talk) 20:10, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
Improvements to Netflix Original Programming Page
[edit]Hi, There's a discussion (Here) on the talk page about improvements to the Netflix original programming page. It was started almost a month ago now by AnonWikiEditor, but I've only just seen it, and since you haven't commented on it I thought I'd just let you know about it (if you didn't know already). Somethingwickedly (talk) 14:13, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I have seen it. The discussion seemed a bit dead to me, but I will comment when I find the time now that 3 people are already in it. Abyss Taucher (talk) 14:22, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
As You can see posters:
- France ver.: SND et Vendôme Pictures
- Taiwan ver.: SND and Vendôme Pictures --Justice305 (talk) 15:35, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- I see neither of their logos on there. Maybe they're on the first one, but the poster is to small to see). If I'm supposed to see anything else you have to tell me. I will not eddit it again, because the film isn't even out yet and we'll get better information when that's the case, but even if their logos would be on the posters that would not make them distributors per se. I'm happy to discuss that further, but I need more information from you to understand where you're coming from. Abyss Taucher (talk) 16:14, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Removed Netflix content
[edit]I just thought I'd post something here to let you know that I posted something here. It seems pretty clear to me that the originals that are no longer available on Netflix should remain on the list. Alphius (talk) 01:29, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
