Speedy deletion of FXB International

[edit]

A tag has been placed on FXB International requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 18:12, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message on my talk page. I am afraid that I cannot undelete the article for you as I am not an admin (I just nominated it for deletion). User:SatyrTN was the admin who actually deleted it. The best approach would be for you to contact that admin and ask them to undelete the page and make it a subpage of your user page, so you can work on it there without the risk of it being deleted. Then when you think it's in good shape you can ask a few other editors to take a look at it for you. Hope this helps. – ukexpat (talk) 13:29, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Following discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 August 8, the article FXB International has been restored. However, since several editors were concerned that the article did not establish the notability of FXB via references to "reliable sources that are independent of the subject," it would be great if such references could be added. Otherwise the article risks being deleted again in the future. --Stormie (talk) 00:37, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
