thermographic image

[edit]

Hello Aboverepine,

I think the thermographic image contains a lot of information, it's shows perfectly what "coldblooded" looks like in case of a spider. I'm pretty new at wiki, so might not be at the same "wavelength" about the type of information that you are looking for. Maybe it's an idea to add a gallery at the bottom just for the "neat" images.

Greetings,

Arno

hello Aboverepine,

Your are right about the location of the images, I think "thermoregulating tools" should have there own chapter on a few different animal-pages (pinquins, bears, otters animals like that, with interesting thermo-stories). I don't know how to create those chapters myself yet, so I looked for the most appropated place, I agree this wasn't the best way. I'm not a biologist so it's very difficult for me to add a lot of tekst to the images. I'll try to get some feedback on the talk-pages.

Greetings,

Arno

Hi Aboverepine,

Just a note to ask if you are still working on the tarantula pages? I'm struggling to understand hi wiki's work, so bear with me.

I write as i research tarantulas, so have a great interest that the public gets the best knowledge. I have a phd in biology, and my homepage is here http://web.pdx.edu/~stul/

I am offering help/advice for your questions, and ask that we can talk about any problems/uncertainties you have. I am primarily a taxonomist/systematist. I have a great network of friends/collaborators who you might talk to to get the best/accurate information.

best wishes, stuart. sjl197-at-hotmail.com
