DYK for Mekong Bobtail

On 31 December 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mekong Bobtail, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Mekong Bobtails (example pictured) were among 200 royal cats given to Nicholas II of Russia by King Chulalongkorn of Siam in the 19th century? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mekong Bobtail. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mekong Bobtail), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I am portugueses and I am on that party. You dont know nothing about it. All my changes are in our website. If you change the page again you will have problems. Aristocrata1011 (talk) 09:33, 11 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi Aristocrata1011. I definitely understand your frustration, but please stick with me here and I'll try to explain what's going on. There's no need to threaten me -- I want Wikipedia to be accurate too : ).
Your edits were reverted because they removed sourced content and added unsourced content. Wikipedia needs to be very careful about whether its content is reliably sourced, so edits adding unsourced content are usually reverted. If you have an official website, that can be used as a source for some things, but you'll have to actually cite the website -- just saying that you have one isn't enough.
Another thing you can do is to use edit summaries. It's difficult for other editors to know what you're doing when you remove content without explaining why. This confusion may lead to your edits being reverted because other editors think they are vandalism.
Please read through the links in this message and the advice that other editors have given you before editing further. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or on your talk page. Best regards, aboideautalk 22:34, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Amazon Scout

Hi Aboideau,

Thanks for catching the error I made while trying to add the Amazon Scout image. You said you'd be able to add it back? Please let me know if you are able to do it. Thanks again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kldalley6 (talkcontribs) 23:49, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

Absolutely, Kldalley6! I just added it : ). aboideautalk 00:07, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

Sorry for bothering you, but...

New Page Patrol needs experienced volunteers
  • New Page Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
  • If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the granting conditions and review our instructions page. You can apply for the user-right HERE. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 20:08, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Periorbital Cellulitis

Hello Aboideau, I wanted to ask you about your edit to the page for Periorbital Cellulitis, what made you change it from H00.0 to L03.2? I've had issues with this diagnosis for ages because pre-septal and periorbital cellulitis do not index, and L03.2 says face except eye so I wouldn't use that code, hence I've always coded it to H00.0. A query was submitted to our classification service about how to code periorbital and their conclusion was H05.0 but this was only a suggestion and I disagree with it because the distinction between orbit (post-septal) and periorbital (pre-septal) is quite clear. What 2020 version of ICD are you referencing for this change? Thank you so much! Carolyn. Tattycakes (talk) 15:18, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Carolyn, my apologies for this very late response. I've been away from Wikipedia for a while. I'm sorry, but I don't remember ever editing the page Periorbital cellulitis. It's definitely outside of my area of expertise . (Although, I am related to someone who is a medical coder, and her 2020 version of ICD-10 indexes the condition to L03.213.)
Per the last recorded edit to the page, I believe you may have been looking for Cyera instead, who made that change on 10 September. Thank you! aboideausapere aude 00:31, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi all, I changed the code category from H00.0 to L03.2 because the code L03.213 is the exact code for "periorbital cellulitis". The Excludes notes state that it doesn't include the codes from H00.0 (cellulitis of eyelids - they only describe styes/hordeolums) or H05.01- (cellulitis of orbit - not periorbital). I think it's the most direct code to choose from. Please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm just starting my professional coding career. Thank you! --Cyera (talk) 03:38, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Oh, I just noticed your last question Carolyn. I'm using the 2020 version of ICD-10 CM published by the AAPC. I hope this helps! --Cyera (talk) 03:43, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi Cyera, thank you so much for your response. (Apologies Aboideau, I must have misinterpreted the names and dates on the page edits). That's great that you have a dedicated code for the condition, that must be a new addition because we don't have that condition specified anywhere. We are still on the 2016 ICD-10 in the UK so probably best that I stick with the information that I have until we move to the new version (or ICD 11, whichever way we go!). They can't tell me I'm wrong if they didn't put the right answer in the book! Tattycakes (talk) 11:22, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
