Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you've been editing an article titled Abhishek Anand Yadav. I wanted you to know about two important Wikipedia policies. The first is called WP:COI, which means Conflict of Interest. That policy says that people need to be very careful when editing pages about themselves, companies they work for, or organizations they are associated with. Your name makes me think this may apply to you, so you should read the policy for some tips--the key is that you have to be careful to add information with a neutral point of view, just like any other editor. The second thing I wanted to mention are the twin concepts of notability and verifiability. Wikipedia requires that all articles be about notable subjects. It appears that the subject of that article is probably right on the borderline. Candidates for office are not always notable, especially if the elections are small and the person is not an elected politician yet. The best way to tell is that in order to have an article, you have to verify that the person is notable by including reliable secondary sources (newspapers, magazines, etc.). If no reliable secondary sources have talked about the person, then they aren't considered notable enough to be in Wikipedia.

Finally, while are wikipedia articles must be verifiable, the rule is extra strict for biographies of living persons, like this one. In this case, the rule is that there must be at least one reliable source, or the article will be deleted. I am about to add something called a BLP-Prod to that article, which is a notice that says that the article doesn't yet have sources, and will be deleted in a week if sources can't be found. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here, on the article talk page, or on my talk page. Qwyrxian (talk) 11:34, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Abhishek Anand Yadav has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
