[edit]Hello, I'm Shellwood. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Wikipedia:TemplateData/Tutorial— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Shellwood (talk) 09:41, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
It looks as though you tried to make an edit to the article Smoke on the Water which didn't work out as you expected, so you reverted it. It is best to avoid making test edits or failed edits to articles, even for just a minute or so, in case a reader happens to look at the article in that time. (On this occasion it wouldn't have mattered much, but some time in the future you may make a more serious mistake.) To avoid that kind of problem, whenever you make any edit always check how it looks on the page by clicking the "Show preview" button before you save it with the "Publish changes" button.
