[edit]

Please review the article talk page before making any more rash reverts. GiantSnowman 19:57, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at 2013–14 Real Madrid C.F. season‎ shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. It was you that was originally guilty of "undoing another editor's work" - look closer to home please. It doesn't help when you are removing sections without a valid reason. AbdulA85 (talk) 20:18, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A consensus on WT:FOOTY is a perfectly valid reason. There are no reliable source for starting XI and assist. QED237 (talk) 21:57, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This is a discussion between myself and GiantSnowman. He is an experienced editor of this site and can speak up for himself. I am sorry that this sounds rude but the situation would be helped without you getting involved, it has nothing to do with you. Unless you are Giant Snowman's talk person. Blimey... QED237 is more than welcome to make a comment; as they state correctly, there is clear consensus which you were editing against - disruptively. GiantSnowman 17:28, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
At the time there wasn't any clear consensus - since then however there has been evident clear consensus on WT:FOOTY which is why I left the page at it was. At the time of editing this didn't exist which is why your disruptive edits were reverted by a number of users. AbdulA85 (talk) 17:55, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
