You have been consistently uploading and adding materials about Southern Taiwan University of Technology that have been copied from pages located at the University's website. This is a violation of copyright, is against wikipedia policies, and is unencylopedic. All your contributions have been deleted as a result. If you continue to add copyright violating material, you will be banned from editing. Please write original articles. Thank you. --Jeffrey O. Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you were just trying to experiment, then use the sandbox instead. Thank you. -- user:zanimum

Could you please chill with the Southern Taiwan University of Technology pages? This site is not supposed to be a complete website for your school. -- user:zanimum

Please supply a source for this image or it may eventually be deleted. --Kilo-Lima 15:36, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

TO whom iT May Concern

[edit]

I am sorry that you sent me this message to my student -Abcancer who is asked to move some part of STUT on wiki platform.

As dean of College of Digital Design, I, Jin Tan David Yang, was requested by President Chang at STUT to move some parts of STUT introduction on your distinguished platform because of many foreigners who might understand what the status of art bout STUT at their countries. So my student just did as other universities such as National Taiwan University in Taiwan- taking part of content from website at STUT.

By the way, please kindly don’t remove our efforts if possible. I would like to donate USD 100 to “Wikimedia needs your help “ if you can treat our page like National Taiwan University or other Universities.

Best regards,

Jin Tan David Yang 12/17/2005 Dean of Digital College at Southern Taiwan University of Technology

  • On behalf of Wikipedia, I thank Jin Tan David Yang for his offer of a donation. I wish to stress that we would welcome article/s about STUT but they must conform to Wiki standards. The reasons for deletion given above are valid. I would also add that contributions must be about notable subjects. For example a list of the student societies is probably not notable. -- RHaworth 09:22, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2006 STUT articles

[edit]

I see you've started again with More facilities.... Please stop copying copyrighted content into Wikipedia. Melchoir 05:46, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The More student life... article is up for deletion, and rightly so. Without context, your articles mean nothing, and will be deleted as being nonsense. Most of the topics of your articles aren't notable anyway. If you want to have one, single, consolidated article about your school, that's fine and dandy. Please, however, do not continue putting up these articles. Official policy is that Wikipedia is not a free host or webspace provider. You have to follow it just like everyone else. -- Thesquire (talk - contribs) 07:06, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Another very good reason for deleting it was that it was made up of a series of image files containing text. This approach is totally unacceptable - they make the article effectively uneditable by anyone except the original contributor. Such tables can perfectly easily be created as text tables using wiki markup. (And in any case they should have been in PNG format, not JPG.) -- RHaworth 09:22, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! I've noticed you've uploaded some images tagged with {{web-screenshot}}. This tag is not meant to be used for images that came from Web pages; it's meant to be used for images of Web pages (such as Image:Google screenshot.png, for example). I've retagged the images below as having no license information. Please make sure that Wikipedia has permission to use these images. Then edit the image description pages to include information about the licenses these images are under. You may find an appropriate tag at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags or Wikipedia:Template messages, or if none of these fit you may write a description of the license yourself. You may want to refer to the image use policy. If the use of this image on Wikipedia is a copyright violation, please follow the steps at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion to nominate this image to be deleted. If you have any questions, please feel free to post a message on my talk page. CLW 16:02, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
