Information icon Hello, I'm JohnCD. I noticed that you recently removed some content from October 25 without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Calendar changes[edit]

Hi, I noticed your edit of John Stanley's birthday, which indeed can be confirmed in NG and other sources. There's a bit more to 18c English and 19c Russian dates than meets a first glance though! I'm a bit confused about Jan. 29 myself, since Old Style and New Style dates gives the difference as 11 instead of 12 days; this seems to have to do with the leap year. Dual dating may be the best solution, giving anniversarists two chances. Sparafucil (talk) 23:54, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
