Institute for Historical Review
[edit]If you will look at the article on the Institute for Historical Review, you will find that the Institute is well-known for their Holocaust denial and connection to Neo-Nazi organizations. Even the article that you corrected the link for admits "In many ways, the Institute for Historical Review and the Simon Wiesenthal Center are antipodal adversaries." Such non-mainstream views in an external link should have some information about such a site. BlankVerse ∅ 18:19, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
A suggestion
[edit]The Wikipedia has a number of unwritten traditions (that sooner or later I will have to add someplace, when I figure out where the most appropriate place to put the info). One is that welcome messages usually go on a new editor's talk page (a tradition that isn't even mentioned on the Wikipedia:Welcoming Committee page!). Another is that new additions to talk pages almost always go at the bottom. BlankVerse ∅ 15:14, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Kingoodie hammer, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
