Speedy deletion of High Potential (book)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on High Potential (book) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Mister Senseless (Speak - Contributions) 19:32, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Be sure to check the links you add on to articles such as you did to Now That's What I Call 25 Years. They don't always link to the song and should be disambiguated by using piped links. For example, Umbrella links to the parasol, while Umbrella (song) links to the song by Rihanna. You can "pipe" the link by doing this [[Umbrella (song)|Umbrella]].

Also, I recommend the use of the "Show Preview" button prior to hitting the "Save Page" button to check your work and to limit the amount of changes being added to the article's history. Thanks. --Wolfer68 (talk) 22:23, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please stop randomly adding wikilinks. You're linking to articles that don't exist and to articles (such as disambiguation pages) that don't describe the term in the article. You appear to be adding links without any consideration of where the link takes the reader. This is your second notice. Be careful. Next time it will be considered vandalism. Thank you. Scary Movie 5

[edit]

Please do not add films to succession boxes that have not begun filming. Read WP:CRYSTAL. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 18:06, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Dave Williams (Desperate Housewives) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Magioladitis (talk) 21:38, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Coronation Steret Out Of Africa DVD, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Coronation Steret Out Of Africa DVD is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Coronation Steret Out Of Africa DVD, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Sinead M.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:36, 5 May 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 12:36, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:FairCotyLogo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use.
