Unblocked

[edit]

You are unblocked. It looks like you got caught up in a bit to much excitement between people vandalfighting. You might consider spending a little less time playing around though.... -Splash - tk 18:02, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. However, i still have this message--

Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing.
You were blocked by GIen for the following reason (see our blocking policy):
Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Aa35te". The reason given for Aa35te's block is: "vandal only acc".

    Your IP address is 69.235.201.141.

It looks like you got autoblocked. I'll try to get an administrator to unblock you.--1568 18:55, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't fool around

[edit]

Remember that this is an encyclopedia and the sandbox isn't really a toy. Whenever you add nonsense to your user pages, it attracts the attention of vandal fighters who've seen real vandals do the things you were doing many, many times before. So I hope you've learnt your lesson not to even look like a vandal. --  Netsnipe  ►  19:19, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't an entirely fair message. It is incumbent upon vandal fighters to make sure what they are seeing, reverting and blocking is definitely vandalism. Sure, it is incumbent upon editors to, well, edit, but they should be safe in the knowledge that people aren't going to block them for editing their userpage and the sandbox. (Usual caveats apply, naturally.) -Splash - tk 21:53, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

However, my userpage was blanked twice 1 2. If anything, the rules of the Sandbox (which apply to a usersubpage, as it is stated as a "sandbox of your own") are ambiguous. If I am correct, these rules were interpreted differently, therefore resulting in a block.Aa35te 22:12, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For a sandbox of your own just create User:Aa35te/Sandbox.--1568 22:35, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow this popup thing is pretty helpful. Thanks for the link. by -=[Aa35te]=- on 23:12, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nfscarbon055.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nfscarbon055.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Aa35te! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 11 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
