Note to Reviewing Administrator and/or Blocking Administrator This user requested information on their block on irc in #Wikipedia-en-help. I informed them it was a Check User Block and advised them they will be unable to edit so long as the block is in place. I also explained what the block was for (sock puppetry) and that the evidence was most likely behavioral and technical (looking at the case page). They claimed to be the sock master's student and wanted to create an article about their teacher. I referred them to UTRS for further help.

Regardless of whether this is sockpuppetry or meatpuppetry, this is yet another user whose main purpose seems to be promoting this person and their book (both targets have been salted due to their repeat efforts). See:
