Information icon Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to William Levy (actor)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Serols (talk) 14:43, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove as this is a new project William Levy is a part of. You can reference a press release from Telemundo here: https://www.nbcumv.com/mediavillage/interactive/2929fed4187b40648b79a9839e70e91fproduct169208/index.html#/brand/5476f206-b324-4f0f-aec7-b438919345e2/press-releases/c81dab7f-43a8-4d56-ac4a-c1b95e9c072b

Information icon Hello, I'm Telenovelafan215. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hercai, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You insist on adding the international broadcast table but Wikipedia is not a TV guide to add the channel and time the series is broadcast in the world please see wp:NOTTVGUIDE . Also the table only has one reference to confirm the information. It needs more references. Telenovelafan215 (talk) 17:59, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@|Telenovelafan215 artists have a table of their roles, performances, songs, etc. I think it is not right to remove an entire table of information. It is more constructive to find sources to cite for the information already there. Also, many of tables like the one in Hercai and the aforementioned do not have every single entry referenced.

@CommanderWaterford how can it be denied when I used the same references present in the Spanish Wikipedia Page. Would this not mean that the references in that other page are also not reliable? If the latter is true, then how was it approved and mine denied? Again the content and sources are the same in both pages because I am only translating it; thus, I am confused as to how my ENG page is denied for using the same sources in the SPA page that is approved. Please help me with this and thank you in advance! APerez.TD (talk) 13:53, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

Hello APerez.TD. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:APerez.TD. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=APerez.TD|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. MarioGom (talk) 18:20, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
