Request reason:

Hi guys. I'm really sorry if there has been confusion here but I am a little confused as to why I have been banned?! This is my first time on Wikipedia and I have a specific agenda which is The Eggplant and the Keep It Real Online campaign. I have read into the situation and see that I have been blocked because a few people with the same IP address have been editing similar pages, however, I am not one of those people. The UC didn't find conclusive evidence so I don't understand why I was blocked in the first place. I have spent hours making the two pages as reputable as they are and it seems unfair that I have been blocked due to common interests with a sockpuppeter. Is there anything I can do to prove that I am not related to the accused sockpuppeter? These campaigns are something that New Zealand deserve to know about as they are government-funded and provide New Zealand youth with tips and tricks about online safety. I really hope that we can resolve this as these are situations close to my heart. Kia Ora AOCJoey (talk) 01:14, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. Utterly unambiguous. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:14, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Why are you editing the same articles as the other editors who were blocked? Do you know them? By the way, Wikipedia is not for things to people "deserve to know". It's for things that have already become widely known – what we call "notable". NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:27, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is because they are all related to this new series in New Zealand. I searched up the key words:'The Eggplant' and saw that there was an article for two of the actors and there was a draft started for the series. From there, I started editing them. This is the only reason I can provide because it is what happened. The draft I began editing was poorly referenced and had zero credible resources, and therefore I researched the topic and found over ten credible references to ensure the credibility of the page. I then decided the strengthen the credibility and create a page for a widely known campaign here in New Zealand and worldwide called Keep It Real Online. This and The Eggplant are both very widely known things in New Zealand. It was the biggest mini series of 2020 here in New Zealand as stated on the website and in the government articles. And no, I do not personally know them. Does this mean I am not allowed to edit them? I'm sorry if it does because I didn't know that. AOCJoey (talk) 03:06, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet
