Orphaned non-free image (Image:Lizzie cars.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lizzie cars.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:13, 29 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hi there; I am answering the question you posed on this user's RfA because I suspect he might find it awkward to do so.

I had already suggested to him that I should nominate him before you did so; we have been in occasional converstion since our simultaneous RfAs in March. Becsuse of certain concerns that he had (unjustifiably, in my view) with a recent unsuccessful nomination made by him on behalf of another user, he wanted to wait until three months had elapsed since his last RfA.

I know for a fact that he did not wish to appear to rebuff you, but felt that I should have first refusal, so to speak.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 17:36, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ANNAfoxlover; Anthony.bradbury offered three months ago to nominate me when about three months had passed since my last RfA. I didn't turn your nomination down because I didn't want it; I had to turn it down because Anthony.bradbury was getting ready to create the page and nominate. Also, as Anthony.bradbury said, when you created the nomination, I was the nominator of another (actually, two other nominations) user, and that RfA was going badly due to controversial reasons. I didn't want my own RfA to go alongside that one; I believed it would be best to wait an extra week; just in case. I hope you're not offended by not being able to nominate me, ANNAfoxlover. The fact you thought about doing it is caring, and means a lot. At least you still got the chance to support me, and you'll be pleased to know that the RfA ended at 104/1/1, making it into WP:100. We got authorization from NAVA to use the meeting flags, past and present, on Wikipedia. You can use the license at Image:Flag of NAVA.svg on the images. It would be best to take the images from NAVA's website. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 19:19, 7 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Come from a NPOV

[edit]

WP:NPOV

Excuse me, but you added a section to an article that did not come from a neutral point of view. When editing the encyclopedia, please come from a neutral point of view. A•N•N•A hi! 02:57, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please be a little more descriptive about the issue you're referring to. After some searching, I assume you're talking about the fact that I reverted a deletion you made to the article on the White cliffs of Dover. You deleted the entire geology section of the article which contains a lot of good information. Although the last sentence of the section is probably not ideally phrased, it is in no way biased. In the future, if you encounter an article with incorrect information please feel free to correct it and add references if possible, but don't delete entire paragraphs of solid information because of one or two poorly worded phrases. --NormanEinstein 12:55, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Anna

[edit]

Hi Anna, I see you're back to editing. I hope you've got your computer problems fixed. Do you want me to remove that notice from the top of the page, here? Oh, by the way, I'm now one of 24 bureaucrats. Happy editing! --Deskana (talk) 14:01, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, thank you. My laptop is still running, but some strange things are happening, although it is much better now. A•N•N•A hi! 14:22, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Peter Ansoff

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Peter Ansoff, by ZimZalaBim (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Peter Ansoff seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Peter Ansoff, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:12, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
