Here is some feedback based on my reading of your article:

What is the value of the quote: Scholar, Sara Baird, writes “Poverty tours conducted by presidents from Lyndon Johnson to Richard Nixon, almost every member of the Kennedy clan, and religious leaders like Jesse Jackson have all painted the portrait of Appalachia the same way: poor, backward, and white.”? Why does it matter that poverty tour depict it as such? Remember, the WP:Lead sections of articles are supposed to summarize the more detailed and specific content of the rest of the article. Is this really summary? Or could you provide this quote somewhere else where there is more context that will help the reader understand why its there?
As for the second quote: How can you introduce a reader to why this quote will be valuable? How can you keep the sudden insertion of a scholars opinion from slapping the reader in the face?

In this section you write "However, after the great depression many families migrated out of the area to find work." What kind of work? Why would this be a better place to find work than a city? How can you make sure that you aren't leaving out vital details that would help someone unfamiliar with the source you draw this information from?

Many of your references don't include Accessdate, date, or the publisher of the work. Without information on when you accessed a website, readers might have trouble finding the website's information if the website gets taken down, and they need to find an archive version.

You make a number of general statements about how the stereotypes "can" effect individuals. Whenever you include this, make sure to also include examples from the sources. Without additional details, readers may not understand how these "can" statements indicate "real" experiences.
In general, these paragraphs are rather sparce. Could you find more information to flesh them out? Do your sources provide more discussion of important details that would help public audiences better understand the topics?
