Capture of djerba and karknah moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Capture of djerba and karknah. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:09, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of wars involving Tunisia. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. R Prazeres (talk) 19:32, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been clearly warned to stop edit-warring. If you repeat your edit again without discussion, like this, the next recourse may be to report you to administrators, who may place restrictions on your account. R Prazeres (talk) 19:50, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Administrators, I am writing to appeal the block on my original account, AK0943. I understand that I made a mistake by creating and using a new account (youssef khedhri 2011) while my original account was blocked. I now fully understand that this was a violation of Wikipedia's sockpuppet policies. I sincerely apologize for any confusion or disruption my actions may have caused. I recognize the importance of adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines and am committed to following them moving forward. I am genuinely dedicated to contributing positively to Wikipedia and would like to request the opportunity to demonstrate my commitment to the community. If you could reconsider unblocking my original account, I assure you that I will abide by all Wikipedia policies and contribute constructively. I deeply regret the confusion my actions have caused and sincerely hope for another opportunity to contribute positively. I genuinely care about being a part of the Wikipedia community and am committed to adhering to all guidelines Thank you for considering my appeal. If there are any additional steps I need to take or further information required, please let me know.AK0934 (talk) 17:13, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I concur that a request before six months has passed will not succeed- and one after that is very unlikely to suceed that soon; at least a year or more is probably needed. I suggest that in the meantime you edit a Wikimedia Foundation project where you are not blocked(Simple English Wikipeida, Wikitionary, or another language Wikipedia in a language you may know) to build up a good edit history which might help you get unblocked here. 331dot (talk) 08:53, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

come on when im being unblocked wikipedia you have to see my appeal i want to edit AK0934 (talk) 16:58 6 August 2024

Demanding to be unblocked has been helpful approximately zero times in Wikipedia history. Considering you're a blocked user who has sockpuppeted, there's already a very big trust deficit with you as it is. You're blocked precisely because at the moment, Wikipedia doesn't want you to edit and you have to convince an admin to change their mind and have faith in you. This is a very poor way to go about that. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 19:02, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How can i contact an admin, why this site is so strict that "unblocke has been helpful approximately zero times in Wikipedia history." at least can you tell me where is wikipedia base or the wikipedia number, and im gonna be banned for ever from using wikipedia ?? please answer me AK0934 (talk) 00;06, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
That's not what I said at all. I said demanding to be unblocked is never effective. In every one of your block notices across multiple accounts, there are numerous links about Wikipedia policies and a guide to appealing blocks. You would be wise to read those pages. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 02:27, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
what pages ?? AK0934 (talk) 17:42, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Checkuser note You were socking as recently as August 5. If you want to have a chance at being unblocked, you will need to follow the instructions at WP:SO.-- Ponyobons mots 18:03, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
were should i "Promise to avoid the behavior that led to the block/ban." ?? AK0934 (talk) 12:14, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You should make that promise in an unblock request, after a lot of time has passed. I doubt six months will be enough time given your repeated conduct. If you really would like to post again, you should wait a couple of years, making sure to have no edits on English Wikipedia during that time, meaning nothing on your talk page, no logged out editing to evade your block, and no more sockpuppets. Then make your case, as honestly as possible, and have concrete points showing you understand what you did, and how you will change your behavior if allowed to post again. And if you really want to have the best chance, become an active productive editor on another Wikimedia project. You're not blocked on any of them and you've already made a few edits to Arabic Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. Being a productive editor who follows the rules elsewhere makes a more convincing case that you can be one here.
And just to get the idea out of your head, there's almost certainly no promise, no plea, no combination of words that will convince any admin to lift your block now, or anytime soon. You may not like the idea, but your only chance to return to English Wikipedia ever likely involves a significant amount of time away from it. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 14:05, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I hope"you should wait a couple of years" was an exaggeration from you. Otherwise I am willing to abide by everything you have written. AK0934 (talk) 12:27, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was not. You can try the minimum of six months in WP:SO, but I don't think the bare minimum will suffice. I'm only outlining for you what the most likely chance that you'll be able to post again is; you are quite free to disregard it. Please note that even this is far from a guarantee you'll be unblocked. Trust, once lost, is difficult to earn. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 14:32, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
