Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Ivan Gren-class landing ship does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! - theWOLFchild 12:35, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of equipment of the Russian Ground Forces, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Auriga (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 17:26, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please take a look at the article, there is a table that somehow seems to be screwed up. Also, why not the same size for all the images? Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 06:25, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I also found copyright content in your addition to Russian Armed Forces. This is your final warning. Further violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:14, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. Please take this opportunity to ensure that you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — Diannaa (talk) 22:41, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have blocked your account, because in spite of repeated warnings, you continued to add copyright material to Wikipedia in violation of our copyright policy. You cannot resume editing until you provide a statement describing how copyright applies to Wikipedia, show that you understand our copyright policy, and make a commitment to follow it in the future.— Diannaa (talk) 22:42, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I understand why I was blocked. Because I am a disabled person it is easier to my to copy-paste text sometimes. I will never do it again, I promise. I have made thousands edits, only a small part were copy-pastes. I thought my last edit was not a violation. Please, contributing to Wikipedia is one of the few pleasures in my life. AGIOS PAISIOS (talk) 12:08, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

In order to lift the block, we need to be certain that you understand how copyright works on Wikipedia. To allow the reviewing administrator to assess your understanding, please respond to the following questions in your next unblock appeal, explaining in your own words:

  • What is copyright?
  • How is Wikipedia licenced?
  • Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia?
  • Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
  • How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?

Your answers will enable us to establish whether or not you should be unblocked. Yamla (talk) 13:05, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Copyright is the ownership rights of an author over his/her creation. I understand that all creative works are copyrighted, by international agreement, unless either they fall into the public domain or their copyright is explicitly disclaimed. Generally, you must have permission to use copyrighted works unless they fall under fair use clause of the US law or they are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-SA) and the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL). However, the copyright law governs the creative expression of ideas, not the ideas or information themselves. I will avoid further violations by reformulating info, typing in my own words and I will continue to always cite my sources. AGIOS PAISIOS (talk) 12:45, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
