Legit?

[edit]

Is this a legitimate Public Affairs representative of AFISRA editing these pages? There have been conflicts of interest on wikipedia before, with corporation lackeys (i.e. Microsoft) who would edit pages for political purposes. Just wondering if this is above board. Yes, this account represents the official account for the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency Public Affairs office. I attempted to send you an e-mail with addition information, but any one may call our office at 210-977-2166 if they feel this user account is being misused. Thanks for checking.--AFISRA PA (talk) 19:57, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's good enough for me. I'm glad that an AF agency is taking wikipedia seriously. I'm sure you've seen http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Template:AFISRA ; it was started to catalog some of the intel squadron Lineage and Honors obtained from AF Historical Research Agency. Since no one "owns" wikipedia some are in differing formats or non-existent; I haven't gotten around to requesting the L&Hs yet. TDRSS (talk) 02:42, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll add that to my list to take a look at. So many units have changed. For some it's just a simple name change, but for others, they no longer belong to the agency, so I need to learn more about Wikipedia to adjust them to the right units. It'll be a slow process, but I'll do what I can to correct facts and update histories.--AFISRA PA (talk) 15:47, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
