Writing with a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, AD1960. We welcome your contributions, but when you have an external relationship with the person you have written about, you have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about your family/friends;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

Also, please note that unpublished personal knowledge or experience is not permitted; this is referred to as original research. All material in Wikipedia must be attributable to reliable, published sources. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:20, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Wikipedia:Teahouse while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:35, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
