Your edits

[edit]

We do not reupload images in English if they are in a secondary language, as translation tools exist to do so. I also have reverted your inappropriate additions of content to Japanese networks as there are proper processes to do so. Please edit properly. Nate (chatter) 16:37, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Studios and Networks

[edit]

Regarding your edits to various studios and their networks, I've been reverting them because I see no real need to list them on the studio pages. They're fine being linked on the anime series' main pages themselves, because that's where their relevance is in where they've aired, but I don't think they have much relevance on the studio pages themselves. They're often not involved with deciding which studios work on what, the studios themselves pretty much never decide, and I'm of the opinion that it's especially problematic as infobox clutter, especially in cases where five or six networks are listed (look no further than the clutter problem on OLM's page now that it has it). I don't believe the networks are contributing much to the page. Sarca sc (talk) 00:23, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But what do you say if I have identified which Japanese TV networks were where those anime from different studios were broadcast and it must be as it was, but why? A.Donaire2005 (talk) 08:48, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Tell me, why do you delete it if it is supposed to remain that way with its respective Japanese networks where the anime was broadcast? A.Donaire2005 (talk) 08:54, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Japanese networks are already identified on the individual pages for each anime. The networks are "important", but rarely to the point that they're something that I think needs to be identified on a list of a studio's works. It's important to the individual works themselves, thus why they're always listed on the anime page infoboxes; but I don't think adding the information of those networks is really suitable for the studio pages. It's just adding a lot of information and cluttering the pages. I think the same about "producers" (note, not "animation producers"), they're important, but there's usually a lot of them so it can clutter studio infoboxes and it's more relevant to the production committee who is hiring the studio for work than the studio itself (and in most cases, the studio is not a part of the production committee), so that kind of information I would say is best on the series' articles itself. Studios rarely are involved in deciding where a series airs (what networks) and vice versa, too. Sarca sc (talk) 08:59, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
