E-Plus LTE

[edit]

Commercial launch will be on 5th of March. [1] MrCellular (talk) 18:14, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MrCellular! Thanks for that additional information! This seems to be a soft-rollout actually, since I am already able to use LTE since saturday.

Would you mind to share your location with me? MrCellular (talk) 20:21, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all! :-)
I found some working LTE cells in the Rheinland area last weekend (Cologne/Bonn), today, back in Hamburg, I got no LTE coverage... :-(
Take a look at http://eplus-gruppe.de/lte-bei-e-plus-ohne-extrakosten/ and the comments below. One user confimed some working LTE cells in southern Germany.
Regards

Thanks for your anwser. I was able to find the user who confirmed the working in souther Germany between the stupid questions which are already been anwsered. Which device(s) do you use? MrCellular (talk) 11:14, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's a Galaxy S4. Yes, there are lots of stupid comments indeed. Some editors here seem not even better, obviously not knowing what's going on on german telecom market (reverting edits, adding comments... annoying!) Guess who's meant... ;-)

Haha... You're a not the first /only one who has to deal with this person. I hope E-Plus opens fast more sites for commercial service in the next time. Do you know the city from the person who wrote that he/she is able to access the LTE network in southern Germany, cause I did a spelling mistake and wasn't able to find the comment. Thanks again. The user "Stefan" didn't mention where he exactly discovered LTE services. Maybe you could ask him by replying to his post. This link should lead you direectly to his comment: http://eplus-gruppe.de/lte-bei-e-plus-ohne-extrakosten/#comment-16625

I'm also receive LTE signals around Nuremberg. So far nothing special about it. The interesting thing is to get access to the LTE network... MrCellular (talk) 20:00, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
