"Quit Wikipedia"

[edit]

Welcome Comcast user from Houston Texas. Please be aware that screaming of masses will not permit the previous consensus to be restored in regards to the way the MMA articles were previously structured. Being that you've not participated in any of the conversations about the topic I am disinclined to do anything in response to your request. Being that your edits have a significantly higher proportion of non-constructive edits, I do not feel any obligation to do anything. Now kindly consider registering an account and reading the rules/guidelines for wikipedia. Hasteur (talk) 21:51, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing that you did not get the point the first time I'll spell it out clearly for you. I accuse you of being an yet undetermined Single Purpose Editor whose goal is to drive me out of the MMA article space. Your claims of abuse and linking of the WMF foundation platitudes is incorrect. You are formally dis-invited from posting on my talk page. Please reconsider your actions and see if it might be better for you to just not edit Wikipedia if this is the attitude you're going to take. Hasteur (talk) 01:45, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Message to me

[edit]

Sorry, but I would not transfer this to an applicable noticeboard. So as you are an IP, anyone could see where your IP is registered (your loaction) with a WHOIS report. You calling him a "tyrant" is unacceptable, and if you disagree with his edits, you may raise it up in a civil manner. I agree that he should not of stated your adress though. In reality, it's you that is violating the terms of use by vandalising Wikipedia:Bots ([1]) and by calling him a tyrant. ~~Ebe123~~ → report 14:34, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of AIV

[edit]

Per what I said, 98 IP you have been reported to WP:AIV for posting on my talk page after being asked to not do so. I wash my hands of you. Hasteur (talk) 23:08, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for harassment of another user. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:24, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I didn't harass him. This began because he announced my home city and ISP provider on his user talk page in order to intimidate me. I then responded by accusing him of violating Section 4 of Wikipedia's Terms of Use. He then proceeded to erase my comment and tell me that I wasn't allowed to post on "his" user talk page. I then reminded him that he does not personally own the user talk page, rather it is a forum for public discourse about the user. He erased my comments once again. He clearly has a problem with his misconduct being posted on the user talk page, but I assert that he is not within his rights to arbitrary delete my comments there because he does not own the page to begin with. I know this is somewhat complex, but I ask that you take a minute to understand this issue and please lift the temporary ban.

Decline reason:

Users are absolutely allowed to blank their own talk page, per our policy on userpages--see WP:BLANK. Blanking it is acknowledgement that he has read it. If, once you are unblocked, you want to pursue "public discourse about the user", his talk page actually won't get you anywhere; you'll want a noticeboard like WP:ANI. Second, you revealed your own city and ISP--every IP user does automatically. All we have to do is type your IP into a WHOIS service, of which there are half a dozen or more. That is, the information is embedded in the IP address itself. If you were a registered user, then it would be against the rules to seek out that information and post it, but because you choose to edit without an account, you yourself are choosing to make the info public. Saying he's violating the terms of use for this would be like you walking around with a name tag that listed your address and then complaining when other people read it aloud. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user is not innocent as evidenced by their throwing the first stone. I gave them an opportunity to not post on my talk page, yet the pursue posting there and making a disruption of themselves. After I dis-invited them from posting at my talk page, they continued. This IP address has had very few edits and none of them productive. WP:OWNTALK gives me the right to archive (or delete) comments on my talk page. Hasteur (talk) 22:50, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have obviously not read my comment nor anyone else's. Anyways (even though you will not read it), if you want, I'll show how he got your home city and ISP.
  1. He went on your talk page or Special:Contributions/98.201.95.47
  2. Then he went to the bottom of the page, of which has links
  3. After, he selected a link to a WHOIS or related report (http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/98.201.95.47, http://whois.arin.net/rest/ip/98.201.95.47.html, http://www.infosniper.net/index.php?ip_address=98.201.95.47)
  4. The report includes the ISP and location.
  5. He has it.
You may do it too to an IP such as User:24.222.202.221. ~~Ebe123~~ → report 18:25, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

September 2012

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:Hasteur, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your persuing me after I have left the MMA article space is harassment. You are dis-invited from posting at my talk page. You have been reported to WP:AIV for stiring up a long dead dispute and harassing me Hasteur (talk) 04:37, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
