Thanks for adding Gilbert and Mr. Park to the List of animated series with LGBT characters: 2020–present page. I had only held off on adding them, although I did add them on the List of gay characters in animation page a while back, to the "List of animated series with LGBT characters: 2020–present" page because I try and make sure a character on the list appears in at least three episodes, so they can be argued as a recurring character, before adding them to the list. It was one of the compromises I came to a while back for pages like that in order to save them from deletion, and it has worked so far. --Historyday01 (talk) 19:44, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
You're welcome. --98.19.248.94 (talk) 21:02, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
The removal on the List of animated series with LGBT characters: 1995–1999 page doesn't make sense, as it was based on a faulty removal on another page. Spongebob has been confirmed as asexual by the show's creator and at various points in the past, in response to those saying he was gay. --Historyday01 (talk) 01:46, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
My bad. --98.19.248.94 (talk) 02:05, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- Its ok. I usually watch these pages a lot, with over 900 pages on my watchlist, so those changes just came up. Its tough sometimes to find sources for characters, but in the case of Spongebob, right-wing people kept declaring Spongebob was "gay" and Hillenberg said, "no, no, he's asexual". Unfortunately, I don't think its that evident in the show apart from Spongebob not having a girlfriend, from what I know. Historyday01 (talk) 00:22, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
