Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Virtual Riot. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (97.85.251.254) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! Atlantic306 (talk) 19:41, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Categorisation
[edit]Please refer to WP:EASTEREGG for your edits to List of waterfalls of India ([1], [2]). Per WP:EASTEREGG: "Keep piped links as transparent as possible. Do not use piped links to create "Easter egg" links that require the reader to open them before understanding what's going on. Wikipedia is not an Advent calendar. Also remember there are people who print the articles". --Tamravidhir (talk) 03:17, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
- It seems you are confusing piped link labels, with what I'm doing, Help:Category#Sorting category pages. The text I'm adding after the pipe symbol is merely for alpha-sorting the article within a category. Please see Category:Lists of waterfalls by country. Right now, because of your revert, List of waterfalls of India is the only article sorted under "L". The rest are sorted by the letters of the country. 97.85.251.254 (talk) 03:56, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry for the lack of awareness. As per the discussion on my talk page and per Help:Category#Sorting category pages, I have restored your edits to the article ([3]). I have also renamed this talk page header per the result of the discussion. Thank you for your efforts! --Tamravidhir (talk) 04:10, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
