White British school-age population of Birmingham in 2023/24 is 25.0%, only 1.2% above the Pakistani figure: https://explore-education-statistics.service.gov.uk/data-tables/fast-track/01a28628-662b-440c-3e14-08dc65d12a8f
Being only 25% of the population in that age group clearly allows White British children to be classified as minorities in Birmingham.
This is the case to a greater or lesser extent in every other English city.

Hello, I'm Cmrc23. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Racism in the United Kingdom seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 17:35, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- Please explain why neutrally describing mass rapes as mass rapes isn't neutral, but using a propagandistic euphemism "grooming gang" is neutral? Grooming is a separate and less serious offence to rape of a child. 92.22.27.64 (talk) 17:38, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- We often use the WP:COMMONNAME for events in titles and subtitles. In this case, that was also shorter than "Group-based child sexual exploitation", which is the official term. We can use the official term if you'd prefer. Remember that this is an encyclopaedia, and we use neutral, encyclopaedic language. Lewisguile (talk) 19:23, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- Do you work for the Home Office? Yes or no. 92.22.27.64 (talk) 17:39, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors. Thank you. PhilKnight (talk) 18:30, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
