Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:The Lion King (2019 film) are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Wolfwalkers (franchise) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Wolfwalkers (franchise), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Art of..., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Solomon. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 10:46, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I was initially just going to warn you, as I assumed that the warning from SummerPhDv2.0 back in 2018 was your first warning. However upon investigation I discovered that you were warned about other talk page issues in 2015. This means that you have had plenty of time to read over the talk page guidelines and follow them. I've blocked you for 48 hours, however this could lead to longer blocks if you continue to use talk pages as a forum.
Wikipedia is not a place to post fanfiction, nor are article talk pages appropriate places to theorize over the movie, petition the filmmakers, or have general discussion of the film. Keep in mind that Wikipedia articles are not maintained by the filmmakers or production companies, so any questions or queries about other films in the series will not reach them. The proper way to reach them and to have any impact would be to reach out to the production companies themselves or to the filmmakers via social media. SPI

[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/90731fly. Thank you. --ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 10:21, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • There has been a glut of IPs posting similar content. Please be aware that if this is you, it will be discovered via the SPI and can lead to you getting permanently blocked from editing. IP are not a way to avoid repercussions for actions you have been warned about via your main account. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 04:07, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Wolfwalkers (franchise). Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. January 2021 (indef block)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 05:44, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you indefinitely because you have repeatedly re-added hoax material to Wikipedia. There is zero evidence to suggest that there will ever be any sequels to Wolfwalker, let alone a franchise. You've been warned about speculation and using the talk page as a forum, however I don't see where you have heeded any of this.
You also appear to be using IP addresses to edit and add the same information. I'm not sure if this is a case of you forgetting to sign in, you trying to make it appear like multiple different people are doing this, or a case of you trying to evade detection by using IP addresses. If you are trying to evade detection or make it seem like multiple people, keep in mind that this is sockpuppetry and is itself a reason for an indefinite block.
You might be able to get unblocked but you would have to do or agree to the following:
  1. Explain why you re-added false content to the article after being told not to do this.
  2. Explain why you consistently re-added WP:NOTFORUM posts to the talk page after being warned.
  3. You will not be able to edit the Wolfwalker article again or on anything Wolfwalker related (ie, no franchise articles).
  4. Explain why you have made IP edits. If you have any alternate accounts, you will need to name them.
  5. Give enough assurance to where you understand what you did wrong and that you won't do this again.
  6. Give an example of how you will contribute positively to Wikipedia.
Trying to edit while you are blocked will be seen as a block evasion and will harm any chances of you getting unblocked. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 05:52, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I also want to add that I want you to voice your understanding of the following:
  1. That you understand that the Wikipedia article is not maintained by the people who are working on the film, nor by anyone with any power to demand or create sequels of any sort. Asking editors for more films is not going to accomplish anything, as they have zero power in that regard and are not in contact with anyone who does.
  2. That re-adding petitions for further films accomplishes nothing, as it is extremely unlikely to reach the people who have the power to create further films. They do not monitor the Wikipedia article and may not even have read the article at all.
  3. That re-adding this content after being specifically told not to and seeing it repeatedly removed is unhelpful at best and vandalism at worst.
  4. That adding information for sequels and franchises that have not been announced is considered to be you adding hoaxes to Wikipedia.
The same thing goes for any film or media that was created by a company. I need to stress that you must show an understanding of all of these things. --ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 06:13, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
