Hello, I'm OcarinaOfTime. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rambo: Last Blood, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. OcarinaOfTime (talk) 14:28, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Jaws: The Revenge, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 12:24, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

Please follow the WP:SIMPLE rules and explain your changes with an edit summary. This really helps make it easier to see that edits are not disruptive and have been made in WP:GOODFAITH, it is good for other editors and good for you too.

Please familiarize yourself with WP:BRD: Bold, Revert, Discuss. While you are encouraged to make bold changes, you might then be reverted and asked to discuss and explain those changes.

Please also make note of WP:MOSFILM which recommends how film articles should be edited. If you want to do things differently from what is recommended in those guidelines you will need to start Talk page discussion and explain why. -- 109.78.218.56 (talk) 13:27, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! © Tbhotch (en-3). 14:46, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Same persistent disruptive edits, different month. Editors also utterly fails to understand WP:OVERSECTION but keeps making the same changes anyway. -- 109.79.176.66 (talk) 20:38, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary blocks have had no effect, it's October and this editor continues to make the same kinds of edits[1][2] and does not seem to understand WP:OVERSECTION. This editor is WP:NOTLISTENING and this is wilful ignorance at this point. -- 109.77.193.38 (talk) 14:44, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
