There should be little doubt that this is the IP 67.101.146.117 attempting to circumvent 3RR. CovenantD 13:58, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Budget

[edit]

BOM.com is using the 50-70 million estimation of what all the Canceled Superman films cost. No one knows for sure exactly what those films cost, so they estimated it. Bom.com shouldn't be using that number. The same goes for their listing of 225 million for Pirates 2 & 3. They are using an estimated figure of 450 million that was released before even the first sequel had started filming. The source said that they estimated the budget for Pirates 2 & 3 would be 450 million, and BOM.com took that to mean that it was 225 million for each film. The problem with that is that most films don't go exactly to budget numbers, they either come up just short or go over, and it's highly unlikely that they would stop exactly at 225 million, especially if they need more money. BOM.com doesn't do a lot of research. I provided the numbers.com with the source that gave them the 204 million, because Bryan Singer is quoted directly as saying that was the budget. No one has confirmed the Pirates budget, and the X-Men 3 budget I have seen at 150 million, 210 million...it's an "iffy" too. Bignole 04:43, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, IMDb, which is no longer considered "reliable" when it comes to recent/future movies, get's it's information from fan submitted info, and was taken from BOM.com. Check the Superman Returns page for the link to the Bryan Singer quote. I take Singer's words over speculation on BOM.com anyday. Bignole 04:46, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
