You shouldn't remove the infobox, but if he is no longer president, the infobox should be changed to reflect this. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 17:08, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
- He is still a "former president" and the rest of the infobox is correct, so please don't remove it. I changed it to "former president". Jim1138 (talk) 17:12, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
Dear Jim,
As you have noticed... CIVA61 .. has totally deleted the infobox criminal. and this is unacceptable.
We can keep both, with the current one being the one detailing his mafia conviction and jail sentence and a second one with his former status.
- I didn't notice the infobox criminal. I think that template:infobox criminal would be used for an individual who is only known for crimes. As Cuffaro is primiarily known for being a politician, the politician box should remain. The mention of his conviction and imprisonment in the wp:lede is unusual, but so is his conviction. I suppose having both might work. Other editors might disagree...
- I would suggest, for something like this, to have a discussion on the talk page (talk:Salvatore Cuffaro)). You can notify/ping other editors by putting {{@|CIVA61}} to let them know of the discussion. This is difficult (I hate doing it), but can go a long way. BTW: wp:vandalism is reserved for defacing an article to the point of damage. Restoring the infobox would be considered a wp:content dispute. Vandalism can be a trigger word which angers people, so please reserve that for such cases. Jim1138 (talk) 17:26, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
JIM,
CIVA61 ha "sweet tooth" for mafia criminals. CIVA has repeatedly vandalized this article, as you might noticed (1) he has put a very long infobox with a "dated picture" of this former mafioso (2) has shrinked the infobox criminal stripping it of all the details (3) has also removed the picture of the mafia convicted cuffaro from the infobox criminal. The Infobox shoulb be reput in place ... and at best the infobox( former president ) could be added as a second line of information Cuffaro is a convicted criminal and he is presently spending is time in jain as a mafia convict.
And, btw, cuffaro in italy is not known essentialy for being a politician, apart maybe within mafia circles. He is universally known for his mafia convictions.
- These statements are subject to your complaint! Please do not go further in the ratings.--Civa61 (talk) 17:42, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
I stand corrected: "President of Sicily" is used for former presidents and senate members in most articles. "Former" is defined by the "In office" dates. Jim1138 (talk) 19:08, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
You need to stop editing the article. You both have exceeded the wp:3RR limit and could be blocked for wp:edit warring. This is a "Bright line". So stop now. Consider this a final warning. Jim1138 (talk) 19:08, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
I would strongly suggest reading wp:BLP and look at other politicians' articles. Duke Cunningham is a US House of Representitive who was convicted. His article states "Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 50th district In office January 3, 2003 – December 6, 2005". WP:BLPCRIME and WP:CRIME may or may not apply. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 19:17, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
Jim, you have nothing to apologize, CIVA is well known in italian circles together with other people of the so-called wikimafia.
Anyway you might have noticed that the guy has just deleted the conviction charges, Cuffaro has been condemnend by the Supreme Court for aiding and abetting the mafia, and that sentence is final (2011). The sentence from (2012) in another trial refers to the application of the principle of "Ne bis in idem" to the effect that no legal action can be instituted "twice" for the same cause of action, Cuffaro beign already convivicted for the very same facts could not be tried and convicted again in another trial for the same facts. ( ne bis idem).
- I though he removed the "charge" field, but see that he removed the "convicted" field, which doesn't seem correct. Would you please put this on talk:Salvatore Cuffaro? Add sources to support your claims and why you think the removal was incorrect? It helps to have everything in one spot so that other editors don't have to go looking for it. It's a pain, but editors don't like googling everything. Please add any responses here and just precede it with {{@|Jim1138}} which will ping/notify me and the conversation can be kept together. My talk page overfloweth. You can also ping CIVA61 and I on the talk page. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 21:16, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

Dispute resolution
[edit]Best to start here: wp:Dispute resolution. Cheers Jim1138 (talk)
Cheers Jim,
You know what. I don't want to have anything to do any more with that piece of mafia scum. He can do whatever he likes to the article, also write that mafia doesn't exist and Cuffaro is going to be next pope. Italy, as a country, has exactly what it deserves due to people like CIVA and the likes. http://www.wikimafia.it/ Have a nice day.
- Then please stop. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 00:23, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
