Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Gregory Gray has been reverted.
Your edit here to Gregory Gray was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://marycigarettes.wordpress.com/2013/05/16/king-schitt-of-fuck-mountain-memoirs-continued/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Gregory Gray page

[edit]

Hello, I want to discuss your edits on the Gregory Gray page. For your info please note:

  • Wikipedia pages are supposed to be neutral in tone - biographies are not supposed to big up the person, be overly negative, be sentimental or have info that is too trivial. Everything that is on the page should be referenced to a good quality published source. His wordpress blog wouldn't be regarded a good quality source.
  • I assume that you knew Gregory - wikipedia doesn't usually like people who have a connection to the subject of a biography being involved with writing it. This is because it can affect the neutrality. However, I'm pleased you pointed out some errors that I made, so thank you for that.
  • The page is a bit sparse on content, but I have ordered some material from a library which should help source more info that can be added, and I will do that in the next couple of weeks when the material arrives.
  • It would be good to have a photo of Gregory for the page - a clear headshot would be best. If you own the copyright to any photos of him that you would be happy to add to Wikimedia Commons on a Creative Commons license that would be really helpful. If you are not sure how to do it yourself, perhaps you have friend who could help you? Only do this with photos you have the copyright of though (generally photos you took yourself), otherwise they will be removed.
  • If you want to make any comments about the article, please use the Talk page, rather than adding them to the article itself. Click on the Talk tab at the top of the page, then click on the New Section tab and write in there. Best wishes Felixkrater (talk) 13:13, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
