[edit]I appreciate your kindness. The majority of editors are very decent, though it pays to be pragmatic and to allow every person their moments. I hope you have much pleasure from involvement in what appears to be one of the most successful collaborative knowledge-organizing projects of all time.
On your user-page question, one must not sign (edits to) articles in the main namespace at all: see WP:SIGNATURE (though give an edit summary); one should sign only posts on talk and discussion pages. —Quondum 18:34, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
