Legal Threats
[edit]Dear Members of Wikipedia,
I am very sorry about any trouble that the legal threats which I raised, have caused. Please note that it was my job to spot this and act on it. However I have been completely taken off this case and so have not got anything more to do with it.
If the BBC does chose to do anything towards this then please note that it does not have anything to do with me.
I am now going to carry on contributing constructively.
Please treat the previous incidents as professionals would as I had to do it for my job and it doe snot reflect on me in real life.
Many Thanks

Concerning Rodhullandemu
[edit]Dear Rodhullandemu,
I am very concerned about a message which you posted on this talk page. Firstly I have not written anything about a school in Somerset. However I have fear to believe it was my children as they go to school in somerset and might of been able to get on my laptop.
However with that problem aside, I am not at all happy with the way you commented to me on this page as I feel it was abusive and threatening. The fact that you assumed that I had a low position in the BBC (which I do not - I have a high position in communications)is one thing. But then posting it is another. I would ask for an apology for this, as I have apologized I feel you can too. I feel your behavior was completely wrong and looking at the discussion on the notice boards you mentioned bad things about me - I would like it if you took back you said and made an apololgy on that page too.
I hope you do,
Many Thanks

- On your contention about not editing a school in Somerset, your contributions show otherwise. The evidence is of an edit at 19:51, neatly sandwiched between your usual edits about BBC Blast at 19:47 and 19:55; on that basis, it's easy to assume that you made that edit. If you are saying that other people besides yourself have access to this account, it will have to be reblocked since Wikipedia does not permit accounts to be shared, or hacked. Please see this. If you feel abused and threatened by comments I made, which were based on strong evidence, then I am not sure your high position in communications is entirely stress-free, and perhaps you should seek alternative employment. Meanwhile, you are free to raise the issue on this page - WQA. In view of your recent history, I's also advise you to consider your next step with great care. 16:51, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

You should not be commenting on my job or my health status. I have got a stressful job, yes. However I can manage with this stress and as I am completely professional, it stays at work. However I felt completely offended when you questioned my position and authority.
- Concerning the school. I am sorry for not making myself 100% clear. I actually live just outside Bristol and so my children go to Chew Valley School. However I do work in Both London and Manchester as a Communication Officer. This is because BBC childrens is moving to Manchester and I help with the communications to do with the move. My password was saved on my laptop which explains how my children go access to it but it has now been changed and is no longer saved on my laptop. When you said school in Somerset I was puzzled because it is not actually in Somerset but BANES, hope this contents you. --789123man (talk) 17:38, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- You're a communications officer? Seriously? Verbal chat 19:08, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Whats wrong with that, At least I have some form of justifiable thinking in me unlike you who is alien or something vaguely similar! I mean you start saying, I don't think he should have a privilege of a talk page. It sounds like you are just trying to find as many faults in me as possible to get me off wikipedia. That's not community spirit. Anyway I answered your questions so Shut Up. And who made you in charge?- 789123man (talk) 19:20, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Why did you remove my question where I point out you claimed to live in Manchester? Now you claim to live in Somerset. So you think BANES (Bristol and North East Somerset) is a county? --82.7.40.7 (talk) 19:26, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
I know it is a county, actually it is Bath and North East Somerset [1] where are you from, America?? As I live there I think I know that it is a county and it's proper name. I removed your question because as soon as one person reads it they just keep on asking more about it and I have to answer it over and over again. 789123man (talk) 19:45, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm surprised the BBC's communications officers are using American English spelling. Is English your first language, as we seem to be having trouble communicating and you have an unusual, to my eyes, grasp of idiomatic usage. Verbal chat 19:59, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- A minor point, but Bath and North East Somerset is not a county. Please stop commenting on where people are from, it's irrelevant here. After all, you are evidently British and think BANES is a county. Dougweller (talk) 17:46, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Yep English is my first language, My computer corrects is to American spelling as I bought it whilst in America. Please do not inter fear with my life, that is not your job, so don't. --789123man (talk) 15:29, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- I find it very unlikely that anyone employed as a Communications Officer for the BBC would have such a poor grasp of English. Perhaps you should drop the argument from authority as it's very hard to credit and isn't how wikipedia works anyway - nullius in verba. Kind of like the BBC motto (which isn't a television company), which I'm sure you know. If you want help changing the spelling settings of your browser, let me know what browser you have and I'll tell you how to fix it to British English. Verbal chat 17:51, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi, my browser is Mozilla Firefox, if you could tell me how to change it then it would be great. --789123man (talk) 18:03, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry for late reply. If you download and install the British English version from here: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/ it should choose British English automatically. Or you could install the English (British) pack from here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with BBC Blast. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 16:17, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Sorry About this - I won't do it again, I thought that it had been taken off the deletion list but it has obviously not. Thanks --789123man (talk) 16:25, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
*It has now, since the article was an unambiguous copyright violation of this website, and I have deleted it. If you wish to recreate it, please do so in your own words. Thanks. Rodhullandemu 16:34, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- Confusing, and too early in the day for me, but that website appears to have plagiarised our article, so I have restored both the article and its Afd. Rodhullandemu 17:05, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
You Should not be commenting if you are feeling tired because it is too early in the day. It might effect you judgment on disputes. --789123man (talk) 17:20, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 19:15, 6 July 2010 (UTC)That is out of order. I am not messing with you, you are messing with me. I'm fed up with this and wish you would just leave me alone. I have contacted Jimmy Wales and am mentioning all of your names. I am saying that this was totally bias and you all are basically ganging up on me. This is not how to run a website like this. I am disappointed on your behalf. --789123man (talk) 20:05, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Biased, not "bias"; it's a verb, Mr. or Ms. BBC Communications Person. 23:04, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
I do not see how I have been abusing my editing powers. I think that you have been abusing your blocking powers. The only thing that I did wrong was making legal threats which I have now withdrawn. Do you have any hard evidence that I am abusing editing privileges. You can't make an accusation without sufficient evidence.
Decline reason:
I'm not really sure what you have been playing at. Your 'retraction' still tries to stifle debate by threatening a lawsuit- you're just redirecting it to the BBC. Your repeated claims to be a communications officer for the BBC are obvious falsehoods- the BBC is well known for its high language standards, and you make grammar errors that a well-educated high school student wouldn't make. Whatever you're trying to accomplish here, it's not possible for me to even evaluate your request for unblock, since I have no way of knowing which (if any) statements you've made are true, and it's not possible to unblock you while you're still trying to use legal threats to make a disagreement come out your way. Request reason:
I do not have anything to do with a lawsuit as I have completely withdrawn all threats, I won't ever speak of it again if I can help it. As for anything else, I can speak perfect English and do have that position in the BBC. I don't really see how this concerns you but I actually have a first class degree in English. As for the legal threats again, I did not mention them in my unblock statement, only that I would not speak of them again. I really do not see what the problem is here.
Decline reason:
I would say that the main problem is that you have told numerous obvious lies and so we are all having a difficult time believing anything you say. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:24, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Why do you think I am lying, do you have any proof?
Decline reason:
Procedural decline, not a request for unblock. You don't have to use the Unblock template to post on this page while blocked; this permits you to discuss the concerns of other editors. On point, Your statements on this page alone have shown inconsistencies that you have failed to explain - items such as the local geography, for example, and this may cause editors and admins to question anything you say. - Your request for a review of your block has now been reviewed by three independent administrators. All of them have said the same thing- that your requests fail to give any confidence that you will edit differently in the future, and that the difficulty of believing you would make it difficult to believe a promise to edit differently even if you made such a promise. More requests for review of your block are not likely to yield any different results, to continuing to ask more admins to review the block is not useful. Therefore, I have disabled your ability to edit this talk page. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:37, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
