RE: Order of operations the answer is that any multiplication (for example, that confered by adjacency) is considered equivalent. a(b) is not distinct from a x (b), they are just different notations for the same thing. I don't think the article is ambiguous is any way so I have not added this information in. Note that feedback isn't for asking queries, it's for trying to improve the article.
