Welcome!
Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:57, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
LBHS Cheerleader Investigation
[edit]Hey Sarah/Sierra, both impersonators have been blocked from Wikipedia forever. They are not allowed to edit anything on Wikipedia either. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:03, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Tan | 39 18:18, 15 January 2010 (UTC)74.4.126.141 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
No comment on the recent actions of the IP or the recent User:LBHS Cheerleader incident, but I noticed this dynamic IP address is indef blocked. It is not common practice to indef block dynamic IPs as this IP could later represent an uninvolved user. By the way, if we bring WP:AGF into play here, and assume that this might be in fact a different person than the vandal, biting the newbies with indef blocks without even a warning is not common practice either. IMHO, this should at least be reduced to no more than one month, but that's just my opinion. PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 3:19 pm, Today (UTC−5)
Decline reason:
Only blocked for two weeks. TNXMan 20:39, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Did you check the block log before making this request? ;-) Tan | 39 20:22, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
