2017 French legislative election

[edit]

Once the election this year has taken place, do you think you could expand and reformat the 2017 election, along with the 2022 election, if you have time? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 16:54, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the interest but it's not a matter of whether I could, it's a matter of whether I want to spend my time on that (writing Wikipedia articles is a very time-consuming obsession to have and one of the main reasons I edit as an IP now is so I'm not tempted to spend more time than I should doing so), and respectfully, the answer to that is definitely not – I'm not really interested in working on that at this point in time given the higher stakes and interest in this election compared to either of those. I wish it were the case that there were more editors both with the ability and interest to do exactly that (and improve coverage of every election in general, even the more obscure ones) but that probably requires recruiting more (potentially but not necessarily multilingual, but it's definitely more useful to be able to follow along with local news sources) political nerds to actually do so. 73.169.176.209 (talk) 17:07, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
