Who banned me, and why? Where is the explanation so I can avoid future offense? Not sure how to format this. Thank you in advance
According to Q2 on the FAQ which id like to cite, a block is not a punishment but a means to educate a violator to avoid future breaches of policy (I'm paraphrasing) yet my block does not include a single reference to an incident or violation, nor a referenced policy that was violated. This would seem to put the ban-er in violation of Wikipedia policy, or at least the FAQ.
My block

Thank you in advance According to Q2 on the FAQ which id like to cite, a block is not a punishment but a means to educate a violator to avoid future breaches of policy (I'm paraphrasing) yet my block does not include a single reference to an incident or violation, nor a referenced policy that was in violation. It would appear the actions of the admin that blocked me were in violation of policy, or at least inconsistent with the FAQ
Edit: on further research I was banned by https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Favonian who on their very talk page seem to be responding in the affirmative to blocking a variety of IP address based on a sole comment with a vague claim. I wonder if this 17 year admin has similarly blocked me. Hello Favonian, could you elaborate on the cause of my block? Or was it tied to your large scale range block? I don't feel this was fair towards me as a user and editor of Wikipedia.
