I would "do that" because this is an encyclopedia, and content must be verifiable and must use proper tone. Please do not re-add that material again. There are guidelines to building this encyclopedia and I, like the others, are following them. Dawnseeker2000 17:36, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Johnny Lee. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dawnseeker2000 17:38, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Johnny Lee, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Pinethicket (talk) 16:59, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:14, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated addition of unsourced information

[edit]

Dear 71.72.246.118. I spent some time on the internet searching for a valid reference to support your statements about Johnny Lee’s personal life, and failed. It is not in his biographies—at least those on the internet. Wikipedia’s policy is that information, especially about living people, has to be backed up by valid references thru commonly available sources. So even if your information is true, it has to be verifiable. Since you have not referenced the information, and I have failed at doing so, your entry remains unsourced, and thus is not suitable for Wikipedia. Please either add a suitable or stop submitting the information. Regards, Pinethicket (talk) 16:25, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring after a review of the reverts you have made on Johnny Lee. Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dawnseeker2000 17:35, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for your disruption caused by edit warring by violation of the three-revert rule at Johnny Lee. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. v/r - TP 15:48, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
