Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, 71.41.248.226. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Lindsay Burns, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. agtx 16:23, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
Disputed edits
[edit]Hello. This is to let you know that your edits on simufilam and Lindsay Burns seem to have issues with Wikipedia policies on neutrality, reliable source, and original research. See the simufilam talk page before you make further edits on the topics.
You have reverted those edits which tried to neutralise such dispute concerns. Persistent editing for the same purpose is not encouraged.
In addition, your edits are more or less the same with that through User 2600:1700:BB80:88A0:D0C9:3303:1337:6FE2 (e.g., this edit and (this). Be aware that Wikipedia has a policy on edits for the same purpose from multiple accounts/IPs.
Thank you. Chhandama (talk) 05:43, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
Removal of sourced content
[edit]In your edit on Simufilam, you removed a whole paragraph of fully sourced content. The removed part seems to be relevant as it is about the clinical trial on Simufilam. Please note that we do not normally do such thing in Wikipedia (read this article) without a reason. Chhandama (talk) 12:28, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 12:40, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
