Edit summaries
[edit]I just thought that I'd drop you a quick line to tell you that you don't have to put four tildes (~~~~
) in an edit summary for an edit. That code inserts a signature when you post on a discussion page of some kind. Putting it at the end of the edit summary does nothing but add to the length of the summary. If you have any questions, take a look at Wikipedia:Signatures. Imzadi 1979 → 21:25, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
