[edit]

Davidian, your recent post at Talk:Armenian genocide contains more of the bad-faith assumptions and incivility that got you in trouble a few months ago. I urge you to reword your comment to focus just on the content suggestion. It wouldn't surprise me if an admin thinks just this one comment (continuing the pattern) is sanctionable. If you continue to make comments like this, I'll call for sanctions. I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that, and that there's a part of you that is willing to drop the snark and focus on content improvements. Exactly in which part of my recent post did you manage to see "bad-faith assumptions and incivility"?? In that the editors of this article shamelessly violate their own Wikipedia:NPOV by not implementing all the significant views that have been published by RS on a topic? This should be the editors' incivility not mine, don't you think? In a post before the recent one I suggested, in the most moderate tone, to add a widely-known RS-based fact that Armenian males were also forcibly Islamized. Do you see this edit implemented in the text by any chance? Don't you think this is incivility on the part of the editors towards your contributors and readers? No? I will go ahead and reword my comments but you, Firefangledfeathers, will witness if the reworded edit has been implemented, okay? And if it is not, then please don't give me this "bad-faith assumptions and incivility" crap next time, okay? Thank you.68.83.217.103 (talk) 20:43, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Davidian[reply]
Hi again Davidian. Thank you very much for your changes. I see your questions about clarifying which parts were problematic, but I think you got them all, and I'm grateful; perhaps, now that's done, it wouldn't be helpful to rehash the situation. I did indeed miss your post about Islamization of male Armenians. I hope to get to that soon, but I've been researching on your point that I did see, about the Mesopotamian Desert. I don't have access to Kevorkian, so I've been checking what I can see. Do you happen to have Kevorkian on hand, and would you mind putting a quote or two on the talk page? We'd need to add content to both the body and the lead. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 04:48, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
