A Friendly Warning

[edit]

Just came here to do what Fantastic Fox and Artem should have done instead of jumping to ANI:

Your rhetoric is a little over-aggressive at times, particularly the suggestion that users should be banned for their POV. In the future it would be best to try not to attack other editor's perceived biases or political POV(Even and especially if they are clearly a rage-baiting troll who deserves it) and focus on the quality and substance of content. We should always strive to take the high road and not allow ourselves to be lured into the mud.

Hoping that their behavior hasn't dissuaded you from editing - Largely Legible Layman (talk) 23:21, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. That was a rhetorical point in a deletion discussion it was just hyperbolic but yes it was unnecessary. I will try as you suggest to stay out of the mud. I see now your link, ah yes “the bolshie elitists cabal” guy- yes better to not get involved with that next time. Cheers.68.196.5.168 (talk) 23:55, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
